EACH STEP MUST BE FOLLOWED TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION:

STEP 1: REGISTER WITH USA HOCKEY TO OBTAIN A 2022-23 USAH CONFIRMATION NUMBER

STEP 2: SELECT A DIVISION BELOW TO REGISTER WITH SIMSBURY YOUTH HOCKEY

STEP 3: REGISTER WITH GROUNDWORK TO ESTABLISH AN AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN (TRAVEL TEAMS ONLY)* FIRST STEP HOCKEY< MITE HOUSE AND SQUIRT / PEEWEE HOUSE WILL PAY DIRECTLY THROUGH THIS WEBSITE.

*SYHA has partnered with Groundwork for paperless and automatic payments this season. Groundwork registration only needs to be set up once for each player registration. Once your groundwork account is established, you can manage payments or change your payment method at any time by using the account you create for your family. Groundwork provides parents with an easy way to set up automatic payments (via ACH or Credit Card), view your payment history, and receive upcoming payment reminder emails. A Groundwork payment schedule must be accepted within 48 hours of your SYHA registration or your registration will be deleted and invalid.

How to set up your Groundwork Account:

Click on the Groundwork Link / Button Above OR the link on your SYHA registration confirmation.
Enter your email address and click "Let's Get Started". A Verification Code will be emailed to you.
Once verified, you will be asked for your information to create your family account (Parent information) - only your name, phone, and desired password is required. Click 'Create Account". This step only needs to be completed once.
Once your account is created, simply enter your player's name and division they will play for next season to accept your payment schedule!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RETURNING PLAYERS: Any outstanding balance or credit (e.g., CHC Tournament Fee Reimbursement) on your account from the 2021-22 season will be transferred to your Groundwork account before your first 2022-23 season payment is withdrawn (on 5/2).

2022-2023 First Step Hockey Pre-Season Registration

2022-2023 SYHA First Step Hockey Preseason Session Registration Page for new and returning players (boys and girls).

First Step Hockey is a beginner program available to all players ages 4 and older to introduce them to ice skating in preparation for their journey to hockey! The purpose of this program is to develop on-ice familiarity, coordination, and strength. No skating experience necessary (skating aids will be allowed).

Preseason begins on Saturday, 9/10/22 at 8am and runs through Saturday, 10/1/22.

USAH registration number required to register with SYHA First Step Hockey.

2022-2023 Girls Travel U14

Simsbury Youth Hockey Association Girls Girls Youth Travel Team(s) Registration Page.

Registration is open to players born 1/1/2007 through 12/31/2009.

NOTE: A non-refundable payment of $300 is due at this time to confirm player commitment (Groundwork Account/Payment Schedule Required).

SYHA will offer combined age group team(s) to compete in the Connecticut Girls Hockey Leage (CGHL) in the 2021-2022 season for girls at all skill levels. All registered players will be assigned to a team by skill level and age. SYHA is planning for two combined age group teams for players in the U12 through U14 age divisions. Final number of teams and team composition (age division) will be finalized and confirmed at the close of registration.

A current USA Hockey registration number for the 2021-22 season will be accepted prior to 4/1/22. Prior to the start of the season, a USA Hockey registration number for the 2021-22 season will be required. Please register at http://www.usahockeyregistration.com after 4/1/22.
