HOCKEY STARS
Hockey Stars, led by Head Coach Paul Faulkner, is a developmental program available to all players ages 4 and older to introduce them to the game of hockey as a safe and positive experience. This controlled environment is geared toward beginner players and will teach the basic skills of hockey while building self-confidence, teamwork and fair play. This program is open to boys and girls from any local area town.
This program provides a seamless transition to hockey for players who have basic skating ability. Skaters must have basic skating ability (how to stroke the ice, turn, and stop) in order to participate in the Hockey Stars program. Players with no skating experience must register in the First Step Hockey program prior to joining Hockey Stars.
Required equipment – Hockey Skates, Stick, Helmet (with Face Mask highly recommended), Gloves. Full equipment (elbow pads, shin/knee guards, pants) highly recommended. Equipment starter packages and equipment discounts available at Vincent Sports Shop
